Some brides love traditional themes, and Lilly of the Valleys have been used with weddings in Europe for a long time. The flowers have also long been associated with purity and new beginnings. Lilly of the Valley's are traditionally sold up and down the streets of France on May Day (May 1st). Lily of the Valley's also has became the national flower of Finland! Some believe it maybe the referred flower in the Bible in Song of Songs 2:1. For whatever the reason, I love these delicate flowers.
