Check out this gorgeous wedding at city hall... love the scooter!

What to read something random and funny? Check out Jeannett's view of ordering at Starbucks, it will have you in stitches!!!

Dark, rich red is so striking against white and cream. It is really the absolute essence of the colors in the images, that almost jumps off the page! For as much as I love the soothing nature of neutrals and whites, it’s color that really speaks so loud. Enjoy this dark cherry hue!

Some days I just love beautiful photography and today's one of those days. Enjoy and look for the beauty all around you!

Are you looking forward to spring? I am.. all this dark, wet weather has made me appreciate the sunny days!! It's almost here... I can't wait to see the daffodils!!

While I could happily live with muted hues, cream and endlessly neutral colors, my mom often pushes me towards brighter colors. From the clothes she buys for me to the hot orange swimsuit she talked me into, her world is a colorful one. For all you color lovers... here's something bright for your Friday!!!

It's no secret that I love the color green! After what feels like endless days inside due to stormy weather I can't wait to get outside and enjoy the green rolling hills. Here is some lovely green inspiration based on granny smith apples:-)

Stay warm and dry!!

Have a party you're throwing and you need some inspiration? Here are a few of my favorite places to find it!
Courtney throws a party for each season of the year and is endlessly creative. Whatever kind of party you're throwing, she has ideas. Check out her blog and multiple past projects. This above a reception she did in pewter, moss and cream!

If anyone could make a trucker party look chic, Lindsey is the person!!! Check out all the amazing details here! She could seriously go into interior design, event design or have her own craft show. To see more of her creativity check out her shop here!

Above is a pumpkin themed baby shower done by an old friend from Jr. High. (The blogging world, makes life so much smaller.) Even though April lives on the other side of the country you can still enjoy this perfect party here. So creative!!

After such a heavy last post, I thought I'd start the week with some random cuteness! Hope it puts a smile on your face!

Today I'm taking time out for prayers for the suffering in Haiti. How difficult to watch the delicate infrastructure of the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, crumble, in a country that has already suffered so such famine, political unrest, and absolute poverty. The hardest part is that the suffering continues, with lack of water, food, fuel, security, logistics and the struggle of disbursing aid. I'm reminded of Eldon, a family friend who served as a missionary in Haiti, Port au Prince from the 1950's until the mid- 1990's. It breaks my heart for the devastation and the extreme human suffering, as young and old struggle with pure survival, and fighting secondary infections. In college, while working in Nicaragua a decade after a major earthquake, the physical, emotional and social scars and suffering were so apparent. May God bring real help and true comfort to Haiti!

"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18
Isn't the inspiration board above amazing!! So elegant and yet subtle. It was done by Kelly Oshiro of Santa Barbara Chic blog!! Love it Kelly!

I thought I would continue with sweets theme and show off some sorbet colors. Soft, pretty and little retro. (Talking of sweets,Troy and I have in a root beer float kick this week.) I love this nostalgic look!

Even though I prefer pie to cake, I'm been thinking about birthday cake what fun it would be to have a confetti colored themed event. Here are a few ideas below, everyone needs a little sugar kick to jump start their Monday!!!
