Wishing baby peanut makes her arrival this week, we went on several hikes this weekend.  For you locals, this is just off the trail at Johnson Ranch.  Emma is loving hiking more and more!

If I could spurge on one element of an event, it would be fresh flowers.  I know they are perishable, weak against heat and fragile, but I love them so.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend, I'm hoping baby peanut makes her appearance soon!  b

Only a week and a half to go before my due date!  After many friends and family complained, here are some recent pics Troy took during "date night" this week.  I'm not sleeping well, and feel too hot just about 24/7, I'm ready for it all to be over!!!  I'm hoping she comes early!  Every morning Emma asks if  "baby peanut is coming today?!" Soon!

Doesn't this brunch food look amazing?!  See the full event here. I've always loved breakfast and what a great way to celebrate a bridal shower, baby shower or host a morning after the wedding brunch!  Yummy pastries, bit size pancakes, french toast and/or crepes!  Of course everything tastes better with sausage, bacon and/or fruit syrups!

Happy Monday!   Summer isn't over, but some days I wish it wasn't so warm! This french raspberry themed event has the perfect shade of reddish/pink.  I love fruit centerpieces for summer! On a side note, only two more weeks before baby!

Black and white will always be timeless!  Simple, yet so stunning.  I'm really loving white anemones!

I'm finally posting on Emma's 3rd Birthday.  It was a low key event in the park behind our house.  Emma loved the gifts, attention and other kiddo's there.  I used the etsy shop Frog Prince Paperie for all the paper goods.  Emma helped me make the cupcakes and cookies.

Among the special guests was Lindsey, a newlywed that drove down from the bay area to play with her!  (You can see some of Lindsey's wedding pictures here.)  The two have such a blast together.  Thank you everyone, for coming and making Emma's day special.  After chicken, salads and fruit, we played in the pool.  Emma wishes everyday could be her birthday!

Summer is picnic time and the perfect time to have an old-fashioned ice cream party picnic with gingham fabric.  Homemade apple pies, tarts, box lunches and lots of kinds of lemonade!
